Elderly people wish to live independently in their homes and to perform daily activities without external help. For some, support with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) may become a necessity. PIA (Personal IADL Assistant) enables people with memory problems to cope with activities of daily living.

PIA is an AAL JP (Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme) project from Call 5. Contract number: AAL-2012-5-033.
The PIA project started in March 2013, and will close in February 2015. Project presentation is also available on AAL JP’s website.
